Subscription Payment Terms and Schedule

Billing

By subscribing to any of subscription services, you agree to the following statement:

“I authorize AFD to send instructions to the financial institution that issued my card to take payments from my card account in accordance with the terms of my agreement with you.”

How we process payments:

We use Stripe, which is a third party payment processor to bill you through a payment method linked to your Stripe Account. Your payments are processed by Stripe in accordance with Stripe’s terms of service and privacy policy. You agree to pay us, through the Payment Processor, all charges in accordance with your applicable subscription terms. We reserve the right to correct, or to instruct Stripe to correct, any errors or mistakes, even if the payment has already been requested or received. If any errors or mistakes are found during your subscription period, you will be informed.

General Terms

By selecting a product or service, you agree to pay AFD the monthly fees indicated (additional payment terms may be included in other communications). Subscription payments will be charged on a pre-pay basis on the day you sign up and will cover the use of that service for a monthly or annual subscription period as indicated. Payments are not refundable.

Minimum commitment period for subscriptions

Our subscriptions require at least a 3-month commitment period. You may cancel a subscription any time after the initial 3-month commitment period. 

Your subscription will automatically continue on a rolling monthly basis following your 3-month commitment period until we are notified that you wish to terminate your subscription.

You may terminate this subscription and/or an individual project, without liability at any time after the initial 3 month term, upon prior written notice to AFD or by cancelling your Stripe subscription.

AFD may terminate this Contract thirty days prior written notice provided there are no open projects at the time notice is given.

Automatic Renewal

Unless you notify AFD before the end of the applicable subscription period that you want to cancel a subscription, your subscription will automatically renew and you authorize us to collect the then-applicable annual or monthly subscription fee for such subscription (as well as any taxes) using any credit card or other payment mechanism we have on record for you. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time by reaching out to us, at [email protected]. You may also cancel via Stripe, and the contract will terminate.

Suspension for non-payment: 

You should also be aware that where you have not paid us for any Services, Product or Subscriptions when you are supposed to, and you still do not make payment within 14 days of that amount being owed we may suspend supply of the Services, Product or Subscriptions (or any aspect of it, for example in relation to current and future Monthly Billed Subscriptions) until you have paid us the outstanding amounts or we may choose to end the Contract. This suspension right will not apply to any Products or Order where you genuinely dispute an unpaid invoice. If you think that an invoice or any amount charged to you is wrong, please contact us promptly to let us know. Please note that any such suspension by us, or any other failure or delays to exercise our rights or remedies under these Terms or at law in respect of your non-payment, shall not constitute our waiver of our rights or remedies and shall not prevent nor restrict the further exercise of that right or any other right or remedy by us.

Privacy

In order to operate and provide the Services, we collect certain information about you. We use and protect that information as described in our (Privacy Policy). You acknowledge your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy and understand that it identifies how AFD collects, stores, and uses certain information.

Changes to these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. We will post the most current version of these Terms at www.afd.me.uk.  If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you via the Services and/or by email to the address associated with your account. If you do not accept the changes, you must stop using and cancel your account by emailing [email protected], or by cancelling your Stripe subscription.  Your continued use of our Services after we publish or send a notice about our changes to these Terms means that you are consenting to the updated terms.
